Classes are first come first serve, no preregistration required. All classes are taught by owner Lisa Julian, unless otherwise indicated. ** Mindfulness Meditation – by donation.

Group Class Descriptions:

All classes are based on the practice of Hatha yoga. The intention is to create a space to practice awareness of the body and mind, by focusing on the more subtle aspects of our physical and energetic bodies (chakras) to restore our entire being. The breath will support and serve as an inner guide toward an experience of expanded consciousness through this unification of mind and body. The practitioner is encouraged to build a personal practice through this self-inquiry. All are welcome!

Hatha flow classes involve a mix of reclined, sitting, and standing asanas (poses), all connected with the breath. Asanas are held for multiple breaths to allow time for personal inquiry and development of heightened body awareness as proper alignment is practiced.

Vinyasa flow classes will be quite similar to Hatha flow – a bit more upbeat, including more sun salutations, standing poses, and playful inversion or arm balancing sequences.

Gentle flow classes will involve longer Yin-type stretches and pranayama (breathing techniques) to achieve relaxation while simultaneously awakening the body. Props, including blocks and bolsters, will be used to support the body in certain asanas.

*All group-pack purchases are final and non-transferrable. Classes must be used by the expiration dates listed above. Please plan accordingly. **Private and semi-private sessions require 50% deposit upon scheduling.

Private and semi-private sessions with Lisa are available for yoga and nutritional consultation. Sessions may involve the development of personalized eating plans, discussions on the nutrition as it relates toward achieving optimal health, including manifestation of inflammation and disease and the use of foods medicinally to prevent and treat disease, instruction on proper cooking and preparation of foods, and practice of mindfulness-based eating techniques for developing increased body awareness. Research and consultation are especially encouraged for those on prescription medications or those suffering from disease that are seeking an alternative approach to Western medicine.
